Entry Requirement

To qualify for Smart and Skilled funding, applicants must:

  • Be at least 15 years old
  • No longer be attending school
  • Be living or working in New South Wales
  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen​

Students must: 

  • Be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement
  • Satisfactorily complete an LLN test
  • Students may have previous experience. Credit and/or RPL can be provided for those with existing skills and knowledge allowing such students to complete the course in a shorter timeframe.
  • Some students will be migrants to Australia and, as such, speak English as a second or other language,
  • Students are expected to typically fall into the age range of 18 – 35 as people still establishing careers.
  • Must have computer literacy to be able to access material and complete assessments.
