Graduates are equipped to undertake various tasks in residential, industrial, and commercial construction, including heritage bricklaying. ​

Entry Requirement

To be eligible for government-subsidised training under Smart and Skilled, students must:

  • Be at least 15 years old
  • No longer be attending school
  • Live or work in NSW
  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen​

Students must: 

  • Be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement
  • Undertake an LLN assessment and enrolment interview prior to acceptance
  • Have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent level of schooling or a Certificate II or higher qualification with an Australian institution
  • Have the ability to carry out workshop training involving physical activity, including lifting. 
  • Must have computer literacy to be able to access material and complete assessments.
